It's really funny when I see the rankings with old row at the top and new row at the bottom. Some of the bottom houses have gotten the best new member classes but they don't get any credit on here because this site seems to be run by older alums shrilling for their own houses.

The top New Row fraternities are on equal footing with the bottom of Old Row. So Theta Chi, Pike, are about equal to SNU, Phi Delt and maaaaaybe KA. I wouldn't say much about Pi Kapp and Sigma Chi, they're both steps below Pike and Theta Chi for different reasons. But OP that's where I see things. Old Row + Pike and Theta Chi throw the best parties and are the most popular with girls, both New and Old. Though I don't think either of those fraternities will take over as a "Top House" (in the Alabama system that title means so much more than "who throws the best parties") they'll sit pretty comfortably near the top for a while, and that's a good thing. A little more accessibility for OOS kids. I would also reckon that Phi Psi and Sig Ep will have some really big leaps in popularity in the coming years due to their new houses and I'm fairly sure their machine backing (sorry ATO). It's an interesting time to be going to UA.
