What is the bare minimum GPA that sororities will cut off at?

2.8 is as low as I have seen (old row), but was otherwise a top pnm type.

I know some houses that cut girls bc they had below a 3.2, really just depends on the housd, first girls to go are usually the ones with bad grades

Depends on the house, depends on the girl. A girl with a low gpa who gets a bid will have something else going for her. For some houses it's looks, for others it's money or family connection.

old row is only taking girls with an absolute minimum of a 3.3 this coming fall but zeta took girls last semester with a 2.75

My chapter will be looking for majority 3.0 as a minimum. If you are a bit below ( 2.9, 2.8 ) you better have really good credentials or know some of my sisters very well.

coming rush 2016 my house will drop you if you have below a 3.3 unless you're just absolutely spectacular in other areas

Houses are tightening up on the grade risks because if girls don't have a good gpa from high school then they are probably not going to do well in college. You don't want girls who will flunk out or cause your chapter to have a low overall GPA.
