clothes at bama
by: PnmI've heard not to bring too many Tshirts because I'll wear the ones for my sorority mostly, but what kinds of clothes should I bring with me? I'm looking for like brands, styles, whatever is popular down there. I just want to space things out so I don't have to buy everything at once! What is one thing you couldn't live without?

not true. lol. maybe don't wear a full on print dress at rush but it's definitely still a thing. planners and umbrellas galore

planners and umbrellas and some of the plain dresses are cute, but when it's all that's in your closet, it's excessive and you look like a mom

Go with well-made basics like flowy, well made tees that you can wear while it's warm and you can pull out later when it cools down.
While it's true that t-shirts are a wardrobe stable, during the cooler Fall and Winter months, it becomes more common to see sorority girls wearing "normal" clothes like jeans, boots, and shirts.
I wish I didn't waste my money on buying a "new" wardrobe full of esoteric prints and trendy clothes (like rompers) that look icky after a few months.
