open house attire
by: PnmDo girls wear wedges or flats/sandals on open house days (the first two days of rush)? Also, how did y'all not sweat all your makeup off and ruin your hair during rush?

That recruitment moms facebook page is the place to go for all the best information about strategies to deal with the heat for your hair and makeup, clothing and shoe choices etc. it really saved me.

Please wear sandals! Open House round is one of the longest, hottest rounds there is. As an active, I have to wear heels on this day. If I see a pnm, out of the gate wearing wedges or anything with a heel, I'm just going to want to punch her in the face (I'm only joking about punching someone... Kind of.)
Now some actives are different than I am. They might look at it completely different, and think that you care a lot about your appearance and want to make a good first impression. It's really hit or miss.
Keep in mind, you can always look well groomed in that days suggested attire. It really comes down to how you act and geet along with the girls in a house.
