Ok we have 18 panhel sororities and say each house takes roughly a low ball number like 75 that makes 1350 new pledges each fall. So for "1 in 25" to be true then 33750 freshman girls would have to rush. Consider the fact that our total undergrad total is about 25,000 @Reality's math is really bad or she is she really mean. The system does work for a reason. Yes a few girls do get dropped, some even after the first or second around. Don't sweat it.. Clean up your online image and go to spring teas if invited. Be your best self during rush.

Maybe 5%? 10%? Mostly because of grades. If you've made it past the first round, unless you do something completely out of the blue like be rude to everyone or have a gigantic emotional outburst that makes you skip parties for multiple houses, you'll receive a bid at the end of the week.
