Does anybody have any good advice for forming connections with girls at the university?

You first need to be admitted to the University. Then you need to just walk up to some and introduce yourself.

Are you currently in Alabama? Or OOS?
Did anybody from your high school go to Alabama last year or the year before?

I wouldn't worry too much about it. With 61% of UA students from OOS, most of them had no connections here before enrolling.
