rushing as a junior

by: PotentialTransfer

So I'm thinking about transferring to UA next fall and I really want to rush but I'll be a junior.. What are my chances of getting a bid? I would probably be happy anywhere considering I'm coming from a small private college where greek life isn't anything special but don't want to waste my time going through the process if I'm most likely not going to get a bid.

Do you have really good grades? Yes? You might have a chance.
Get recs for ALL the groups. your rec writes should play up your good grades, activities, maturity, experience.
If you know ANYBODY at all in a sorority, let them know NOW that you will be coming to UA and that you're going out for rush. NOW because after may 1, there's supposed to be no contact.
Sign up the interest form on the panhellenic website and try to come to the April parties.
Sororities can take a handful of upperclassmen and it won't count in their "quota" (quota's pretty flexible nowadays) DO you have a chance of a chance!
