another list made based off of he-said/she-said and not your own personal, well versed knowledge of each sorority?? never seen that before.

Grades are not based on others opinion. Grades are based in fact which comes out semesterly in the Grade Reports. Therefore, Pi Phi and DDD would not come before AXO in grades. XO, AXO, Alpha Gam would be top in grades, consistently in the recent years. A Phi, Gamma Phi, DZ, and Zeta would be the lowest in grades.

Alpha Phi has, out of the 11 semesters of chapter reports available online have only had over a 3.0 twice out of the past 11 semesters. At most schools not making it above the all-womens average and all-sorority average, would put the chapter on probation if not losing their charter entirely.

It's not like their it grades are that far below a 3.0. Why don't you tell everyone exactly what the grades are?

In no way am I saying that they will lose their charter at Alabama. Just pointing out many, if not most greek chapters would be on probation and/or at risk of losing a charter if their GPA is consistently below All-Women's average GPA and All-Panhellenic average GPA. In no way would APhi nationals pull the charter for one of their biggest chapters in the country and may not even be in APhi rules for GPA to pull a charter for GPA. As far as the grades they are made public and you can see for yourself.

Alpha Phi .04 below 3.0. Now that is worth pointing out! Thank you so much! Shows exactly how low their grades are. Banana ha. 3.0 is the desired GPA for incoming freshmen as stated online and other places. Your point is exaggerated. They may have the lowest GPA, but it's not so bad that it deserves attention.

I think grades can be slightly subjective if you take into account what sort of classes the members take. While both are extremely worthwhile professions, it's no secret that engineering classes are much harder than elementary ed classes and I think it's unfortunate that grade reports don't show that kind of information since some of the sororities lean more towards one type of major

Do Zeta and Alpha Phi attract more engineering majors?
Do Alpha Chi Omega and Chi Omega rush more Education and History majors?

Agree, certain degrees can be harder in the math and sciences. Some chapters criteria for new members is a focus on GPA first. Others focus on other attributes first as long as the GPA is decent.

I would not have picked those exact houses and I'm not going to name a sorority outright but there are certain ones on either side that I feel like attract certain types of girls in certain majors.

Well, good for you, but the university does not take into account class difficulty when calibrating grades.
I doubt any sorority has a majority elementary ed majors....or consumer science, or aerospace engineering, or statistical analysis of biodated electrons, or any other 1 major.

The university doesn't, but employers do. A 3.5 is going to be more impressive to an engineering firm than someone employing a teacher. Also I don't know if any sorority here does this because I wouldn't ask, but my sister is in a sorority that is usually 1 or 2 in grades at her school and they rush girls with certain majors harder because they tend to make higher grades. She says it works for them at least.
