Every house has taken sophomores in the past and will have the opportunity to take them next year. However, since they aren't required to take sophomores, some houses may want to take more than others (if they lost a lot of girls who dropped, transferred, or graduated early). No one will drop you just because you're a sophomore, but if you don't fit what they're looking for AND you're a sophomore, they have no obligation to keep you. As long as you have good grades and recs and present yourself well, you still have a good chance of getting a bid.

I rushed as a sophomore and didn't feel like any houses dropped me for that. I felt like each house gave me an opportunity. I will say that what does suck is that some houses take only 2 or 3 sophomores so if like stated above if you're not exactly what they want you'll be cut.
