UA is my top choice next year for school. i'm a legacy for tri-delt, adpi & phi mu, i'm from out of state but still the south how hard is it to get into those three?

if you're a legacy you are given special consideration. that said, tridelt and phi mu are two of the most selective sororities on campus. adpi definitely has their pick of girls as well, being one of the top new row houses. but being a legacy will help you a lot.

Being a legacy will only get you so far. You have to be what the chapter is looking for. Sure, it gives you a second look and an invite back to philanthropy, but after that, they have to like you for YOU.

I posted this because I am in one of these houses... We give considerably more consideration to legacies.

At least in my house (and, from what I understand, many other houses), legacy status gets you a courtesy invite back to Round 2 and automatically puts you at the top of the bid list if you get preffed. But you are on your own between Round 2 and Pref. You don't really get special consideration because we often have so many legacies that we would have an entire pledge class of legacies if we preffed all of them.
