when to contact

I am a male high school senior from NJ who recently got accepted to bama and would like to if it is too soon to start contacting fraternities about rushing,if so when is the appropriate time to start contacting them?

I assume you are going to be traveling down at some point to visit. Definitely reach out to some chapter heads via email. Got to IFC preview days this summer. You're not late on anything.

Most of my guy friends are from out of state and they started rush in August this year. They are all super happy with the fraternities they chose and got into great houses. The "old row" houses are mainly Alabama boys who recruit in-state, southern boys only. You wouldn't want to rush them anyway!

When you come for Bama Bound, go to a bunch of parties and see which guys you mix well with. That's he most important thing!
