Other than looks alone, what does a "top tier' sorority do to make them "top tier"?

If tiers are based on fraternities opinions, zeta and a phi are top.

grades, involvement, how driven the girls are. just come down here and you'll see which ones everyone wants to be in and that's top tier

So true, if any sorority had the guts (never will) to abolish legacy preferences, they would quickly skyrocket to the top. But they will probably always be exactly the same because - well - it's Alabama.
