Alpha Phi will have to because they've had tons of girls drop out. They're denying it, of course, but that's a red flag about why you might want to think twice about them. Also their nationals is on them really hard looking at everything they do because they are so upset about the recruitment video. My roommie was an Alpha Phi but dropped before initiation.

ALpha Phi nationals is not upset about the video. So just stop the hating on Alpha Phi already. and if you weren't throated somehow by Alpha Phi you would just IGNORE them--not take to GR and bash 'em. Every sorority that drops below campus total can COB is they choose to do so. Stop the nonsense and lies.

You are a liar,plain and simple. I am so sure your beloved "roomie" was an APhi. You just sound pathetic. Give it a rest sister. Sadly, this is probably an ALUM of a chapter that feels threatened, not even an active member. Their nationals arent upset about video. They surely knew about it. Do you honestly think a chapter at such an important Greek campus as BAMA would not have to run that by their nationals? DUH! I thought the video was cute after I finally watched it. Lots of hate and jealously for a rising chapter. If they get grades up (which they need to), they will be amazing.

Not only is Nationals not upset about the video but they funded and guided chapters across the country to do the same style video... ASU, Mizzou, Ohio, all over (even Canada) and they're all the same style video showing off the gorgeous sisters all of these chapters have, doing the circle/ivy hand sign, running around on football fields, blowing glitter, etc. If anything I would say they're proud, or at least they should be.

This has nothing to do with the machine. It has to do with the reaction against so many Alpha Phis spamming this site with praise for their house. The people I know are just really tired of it - not just on this site but all the bragging they do in real life. We're just done with them.

Agree. The A Phis are so blatant in their rank spamming that it's irritating to see over and over. You can look at all the A Phis who replied above and see what I mean.

And obviously they are as simple minded as many of you hateful people say because they don't know they are supposed to spam with good comments not evil and unkind ones. They are a very good chapter and have a lot of really sweet girls. They really don't deserve the hate. And to say they come on here and put good stuff just is silly. There are 20 negative comments for every one good comment, so that is by far one of the most stupid things I've read on here.

I heard regarding chapter totals, a few top tier are at/below chapter total (390) now, but they will not COB. Also heard some middle tier like ADPi, APhi, DZ and ZTA were right around the 390. All houses will loose some from fall to spring. ADPi only occassionally COBs so they won't unless they loose a bunch. ZTA does participate in COB more often, but I have not heard whether they will given their house is under construction. DZ and ADPi are more likely too if under 390 come January. I hadn't heard anything about DG, but others on this post seem to think they might.

Dg is way below quota and will be partaking in COB. I do not want to state their numbers in fear of being incorrect, but I think it's like 350ish.

it's not bad to ask about any of the houses. All Bama sororities are tops. The tiers and bashing are just on this anonymous site. If it bothers you, don't continue to read the comments on this site.
APhi has participated in spring COB/recruitment the last few years. If you know and like the sisters, you should consider APhi.

DG did last year but they only took a handful. I think they already knew most of them.
Really nothing is set right now. Houses will take a look at who didn't come back, count the numbers, and then decide immediately after everyone comes back in August.
If you're not sure whether or not to sign up for COB, go ahead and sign up. There's no set schedule for parties or anything. Some groups may even invite a few girls for lunch and then decide they're not going to pledge anybody.
You can always go to some parties and then withdraw. Then sign up for fall.
Or you might find a perfect fit and accept a bid.
No pressure right now at all.
