what is the machine?

The fact that the Machine determines things like SGA positions and HC Queen is critical for PNMs to understand. It creates an illusion of high quality that is necessarily consistent with the experience offered by the houses. Dear PNMs -- you have to focus on chemistry and whether you really truly fit with the girls in a house. You can only learn this through experience in the recruitment process. You have to filter out all the noise and listen to your heart when the time comes.
