push for sga?

Why does being in SGA seem to be such a big deal for Greek life here? Maybe a dumb question but it isn't like that at other colleges. Here everyone boasts having SGA membership; don't quite understand the big deal. (SGA is great but why want so many of your members in it?)

Often shows the most talented people. Just look at the freshmen, the top houses all have members in first year council.
