No no no!! Preview dates will likely be announced late fall, and so you should try to come!! Even if you live out of state, it's probably in your best interest because it lets the girls get a head start on looking at you!! I wouldn't make some crazy plans, but if it's not too much, then try to go! And you should get some invites to spring teas, and those are very fun and cute! You don't have to go to those either. But refs are the most important! More than coming to either of these events!

Spring Preview anyone can sign up and come! Spring teas are invite-only however (usually about a month after Preview) and that's where it would help to have a rec in for. Sometimes sororities will invite girls they meet from Previews who they like to teas, but most of the invites are from alums, friends from home, and girls who got recs in already. As soon as you know you'll be attending Bama, start asking around people you know, tell them you're interested in rushing, etc. Do this ASAP, get them in by early March at the latest for Spring Tea invites.
