rankings are not important
by: ActiveCan I just say like rankings really really REALLY don't matter here. Sure it can be addicting to list them on this website but in real life, no one gives a crap what sorority you're in. Honestly when I meet a girl, I judge her for her personality, how fun she is, etc. not what sorority she's in. I've meet girls in DZ who I adore and are my best friends and girls in DDD who are mean who I'd never be friends with AND VICE VERSA. Not all the girls in top sororities are super mean and catty! Likewise not all bottom tier sorority girls are boring! Every single sorority has GREAT girls, and I truly mean EVERY sorority. A lot of sororities get targeted on here, but that doesn't mean their entire sorority "sucks". Honestly every sorority has girls that are smart, dumb, party, rude, pretty, etc. Don't listen to the stereotypes on here, I can genuinely say that every sorority outshines all the others in one way or another, so if you're at a so called "bottom tier sorority" don't let it bother you. At the end of the day, rankings are only important if you let them be.

This is such a great message! I think if we can just get past the ridiculous constant "rankings", and branch out and really meet people from ALL sororities (regardless of what "tier" our house or theirs is considered to be) that we will truly realize that EVERY chapter at Bama is amazing and each has something special to offer its' members. We are Panhellenic sisters, after all. Let's start showing our Panhel spirit, ladies!!

I totally agree with this post, however, there is a ranking on the first page of our site here! People keep commenting and keeping it going! If everyone would just ignore these rankings, not post on them and go on with our lives, maybe everyone would have a more Panhellenic attitude. I know this is a ranking site, but if we refuse to play, the controversy would die down. We can like each other...it's really OK.
