How much money do bigs typically spend on their little and vice versa. I know I can ask in my chapter but I'd rather avoid talking money like an idiot.

Honestly you really need to ask around in your chapter because it varies by house. I've seen some chapters go all out and get super extravagant, and others just do a couple crafts.
