Which house would you rather be in, delta gamma or delta zeta?

DG. DG has a better sisterhood from what I can tell. Both are low tier houses though.

Definitely DG from what I've seen this week. I'd rather be in a newer chapter that is on the rise than one that's been at Bama a long time and is stuck at the bottom.

I was personally very impressed with DZ. All the girls were so sweet and welcoming. They were not on my list before this week but I felt really at home there.

DG. I'm an active in another house, but I went to DG on pref night and they did make my decision a little harder! They are a "bottom tier" house, but their sisterhood is amazing

I agree. DG is "lower tier" but they could get better! They are also amazing nationally compared to DZ which is nationally lower tier.

I'd rather choose even Theta or Gamma Phi than either of these sororities. At least they're good nationally, unlike DZ or DG.

Delta Gamma does rank high nationally, but not at Alabama, having been on and then off campus several times.
Delta Zeta also ranks high nationally and historically "ranks" middle at Alabama.
However, the influx of OOS students has changed thins and most houses except for the 2 newest ones are not much different. You still have DDD, KKG, and KD as the "blue blooded money" and AXO grades and looks, however even AXO no longer pledges strictly on looks.
Sorority women have become bigger than wanting to be just considered hot. All this ranking stuff is silly and mainly brought on by old alums and moms who were never even in a sorority.

So many DG's self ranking. No pnm's should look at other people opinions to decide on a house. Go where you are most comfortable. Not an anonymous person.
