connections

In a lot of these posts they say that the sorority wants to know if you have "connections", both my parents are well connected and have good jobs in my state, but i'm from the west coast, so how would they know? Are they googling my family too? That seems a bit ridiculous...

this is one reason why more oos girls end up new row. their "connections" and "family reputation" are not known and not really relevant to Southeast centric and Alabama centric chapters. just my opinion.
