rush week

by: PNM

Realistically what do I need for rush? Like how many dresses / outfits do I need? Do you wear an outfit per day or are there multiple events in between where you need to change. I feel like I'm unprepared in the amount of outfits I have for rush.
PLEASE HELP

First of all, take a deep breath! Rush week will be long, stressful, and unbelievably hot, but it's also going to be one of the best memories you make freshman year! You're going to be just fine!!

Secondly, if you check out uapanhellenic . com, they publish a yearly guide with everything you need to know about recruitment (I believe it's published sometime in June). It will give you examples of every kind of outfit you need, but just in general, you will need:
1. Two casual sundresses with comfortable sandals for ice water teas
2. Two pairs of cute shorts to wear with the provided philanthropy day shirts, and again comfortable sandals for philanthropy days
3. Two nicer sundresses (something you might have worn for your senior pictures, maybe?) with wedges for skit days
4. A more formal dress (something you might wear to church or an awards assembly at school) with nice, classic heels for pref
5. A tank top and shorts with shoes you can run in for bid day.

On days when you need wedges or heels, I'd suggest bringing some sandals with you to change into in between parties (your feet will thank you!). Other than that, you shouldn't need to change any other parts of your outfit throughout the day. Again, don't worry yourself about recruitment over the summer. Just focus on getting your recs, keeping social media clean, and enjoying your break! Good luck!
