Can someone please explain KD and the “ninja” thing
by: TruthI keep hearing that KD cuts too heavily in the beginning of rush and then have to scoop up “filler girls” that are called ninjas bc they snuck in. And then the filler girls get treated differently by the actives bc they are only given a bid to help meet quota. Funny enough I don’t hear that from any other single chapter other than KD. Why would anyone join a sorority that mistreats others like this?

That’s not what a ninja is. The cuts made in the beginning are cuts using RFM. Based on the return rate, KD (and other chapters) have to make deep cuts initially because they have a high rate of women accept their invites, and it balances it out so all your daughters have a home.
Ninjas come into play from the OOR women KD (and a couple other OR houses) keeps around to keep their national organization happy because the chapter here really likes to pull local girls from a few select neighborhoods in Alabama. Many of those women feel neglected as sisters because they didn’t go to high school with the rest. They are ninjas in the chapter - secret, invisible sisters. Proceed with that as you choose.

This #2 post is the real stuff. KD nationals wants to see more diversity but the alums in KD who really control who gets in advocate heavily for local and specific legacy girls who wouldn’t get a second glance at otherwise good houses bc they’re plain Jane average AF girls who have nothing to contribute other than their legacy name and their zip code.
