OOS transfer needs advice

I’m transferring from ku where im a KD. I still want to be a KD at UA but I don’t know the process to join the chapter here or if they’re even going to let me join because I am originally from the west coast. I’m initiated so I feel like I have to be allowed in?

You need to contact KD not post on greekrank. Most national sororities leave it up to their chapters to decide whether to take an affiliate member or not.

Bama KDs are awful. They do not accept outside girls well and there’s a high chance you will not be welcomed with open arms, sadly. Contact Nationals but know what you’re potentially getting into. They regularly exclude OOSgirls in their chapter from events.

This is a lie. Over half of the chapter is out of state. Just like all chapters at all schools, there is a vibe. Make sure you fit/like KD's vibe before affiliate with the chapter. KD has great women from all over the country.
