blonde or brunette?

So I'm naturally light brown but have died my hair blonde and darker in the past. One of my friends who goes here said that guys prefer blondes here so I should dye it back blonde so more guys think I'm attractive. Don't call me shallow I was just wondering if guys do prefer blondes here?

I mean from what I see guys definitely prefer blondes but don't dye your hair over it…just dye it the way you prefer it lol
