why is gphi bad?

No if you liked them go back! That's why there are so many! No one cares on campus you need to pledge where you like and it's feels like home! If you pledge based on what other think you will be miserable!

All the houses at Bama are great. Go where you feel connected and where you are wanted and you will be happy! GPhi is known for having more girls from the Northeast but also plenty of
girls from all over. Pretty and edgy and fun.

There are no “bad” houses at Bama. There are a lot of awesome GPhi’s! They are more open to influencers and have a good sisterhood. Very strong nationally too.

They are much more baddie than southerners like.

I just graduated from Bama. I preffed Gphi and the other house was OR. I ended up OR and was MISERABLE! I’m from Florida and my house was mostly in state girls. Lots of cliques. Ended up great friends with many Gphis. Not as fake, a lot of fun girls.

I don’t think legit anyone at this school thinks Gphi is bad im confused is this rage bait?

They aren’t bad! There are great girls in that house and it beautiful.

They only get that reputation because they’re very northern and don’t get as many southern girls as some of the other NR houses. They’re grades aren’t the best but I think they’re fun

for years they were the bottom house here with theta but like over the past 5 years they’ve risen up to lower mid/mid tier. as bama gets more OOR students, gphi gets a little more popular!! i personally preffed them and a “better ranked” house and it was a really hard decision for me!!!

and some ppl don’t like them for 2 reasons:
1) i think older alum from more southern OR and NR houses (like Aopi which used to be much higher ranked a decade ago) really don’t like that gphi has gone up in rank.

2) gphi is kinda only getting more popular because they are trying to get more aphi type girls. aphi is trying to clean up their image a little, so gphi is taking a lot of those girls. in return, gphi gets hotter girls at the expense of their grades/rep

gphi has a lot of really laidback, chill girls but i definitely feel there is a divide between the girls who think they could have gone aphi or ZTA vs the really chill girls who dgaf. no chapter is perfect tho and a lot of them are divided like that depending on the member class.

i personally really get along with gphi’s and i think they’re a fun house.
