Legacy question

My mom and grandma were both KKG at bama like forever ago. What happens if I go through rush and don’t like that house? Do I have to join bc I’m a legacy? And what if I like them but they don’t like me? Do they have to take me? I don’t want to disappoint my family but I don’t want to join a house where they feel like they are stuck with me or vice versa.

There is no preferential treatment for legacies anymore. You will be a regular pnm. If they like you they will invite you back, if not they won't. Make sure Mom and Grandma know that, emotions run deep.

Thanks that’s good advice. I didn’t really want to rush but they told me they won’t pay for college if I don’t.. so this is all a huge deal to them
