You had 443 members at the end of fall semester. Then you added 16 new cob members in spring (more cobs than any house) and now you only have 414? Your 16 new cob members have a gpa of 2.35? SERIOUSLY? That means 45 dropped after fall and your 16 spring cobs had an AVERAGE gpa of 2.35?
Embarrassing.

According to spring 2024 grade report:
5 largest - no cobs
Kd 469
Axo 467
Agd 465
Xo 463
Kkg 459
5 smallest if they had any cob subtracted out also so you see both
Aphi 414 -16 cob = 398
Adpi 408 -5 cob = 403
Gpb 406
Kat 375 - 14cob = 361
Sk 229 - 13 cob = 216
So if you rerank before cob : smallest : sk , kat, aphi, adpi, gpb \n\n\n\n\n

Not a correct analysis. The fact that some houses can always cob and get new members in the double digits is a strength and not a weakness. The cob numbers should not be interpreted as a weakness by deducting those numbers from house total -unless your only interest is to deride those houses.
You must be that same anti-aphi nutter that posts every summer before formal recruitment. How much are you paid?

So then don’t look at cob numbers they are still the smallest houses with or without those numbers . But fact is look at the quality of girls they are giving a cob to - average gpa of 2.35. And wait you can get paid to write on Greek rank ? Holy cow I’m missing out I want in

NEEDING to cob in double digits is not a strength. Only houses who aren't at total are even allowed to cob. Really if a house is handing out cobs to people who have a 2.35 (average so many are less) is not a strength.

Those top grade houses do very hard cuts at the beginning of rush . Grades do matter to most of the sororities here. Mine isn’t top for grades but we have consequences for bad semesters. The sorority helps us with tutoring etc. they just want to see us succeed. I fell like my sorority does it in a caring way. It is nice to know that someone has your back to keep your grades up so you do t get in a spiral of too much partying

The more aphi ranks itself top or even mid the more desperate they look. If you have to cob such a large number that’s a problem. How is cob 16 girls with average goa of 2.35 a flex???

So missed this post and just caught up. Aphi deserved this - why would they ever rank themselves above old row? As for their reputation everyone knows what their rep is here : pretty, party girls, not very smart or involved, there for the boys. That is their rep - it won't change so I don't think getting on here will help. You may not approve and that's fine that's why you aren't in that house.

I haven't seen any posts where Aphi is ranked above old row. This thread just seems like the same old summer anti-aphi push. Does anyone think Aphi would get on this site and rank themselves above old row? Above kkg and pm for example? Not likely.
They are a party house popular with the frats and if someone wants an academic house like agd,axo,xo,piphi then they should go there.

If someone wants a social house and not an academic pressure house like agd or axo (both gpa = 3.8) then aphi is ranked higher.
Socially aphi, pm, zta, kkg are all similiar. This is known on campus.
There is another recent thread somewhere on this site where all the participants said the party houses are kkg and aphi.

I know many who preffed Aphi and Zeta and picked Aphi from last recruitment.
No one compares Xo to Aphi. Totally different.

No they didn't. Why make up stories. No one put aphi above zta that's crazy. I would say most of the ztas I know preffed zta and an old row house (mostly pm or ddd). Zta has respect and Aphi does not. Zta has access to both new row and old row boys. Other sororities respect all that zta has done over the past few years. And there was a rank where aphi was above xo that's why people got all bent out of shape.

All summer- “Aphi gets bullied on GR. Poor innocent Aphi”
Bid Day-“Aphi swept the row and got the BEST. Everyone else is mid. Aphi is top row”
Post bid day-“Aphi is upper mid/top because of new pc. Aphi is same as PM and ZTA, better than AGD and XO.”
Grade Report Day-“Nobody cares about grades. Nobody cares about retention. COB is great. Aphi is top party house. All the smart houses aren’t social. Nobody uses greekrank anyway”.
Repeat.
