Rush Consultant Trolls?
by: Conspiracy Theory
Hear me out on this one.
I bet a lot of those weird Southern rush consultants that charge $4,000 to Southern PNMs are on GR non-stop. They financially NEED to create this idea that you will die a slow death unless you get certain houses.. and those houses are the ones where they have previous clients in to help their new clients get connected. They are paying for connections not coaching.
Its a Southern mom scheme.
How many PNMS in OR used consultants to get the right connections?? I know 3 personally and they all got exactly the house their Southern paid for.
Rush consultants are out of business if PNMs actually knew that every house is about the same in terms of social calendars, sisterhood event, philanthropy and scholarhship.

If you know absolutely nothing and have affluent striver parents. Sure drop 10-15k on rush consultants. Maybe you’ll get into piphi instead of DG and that’s probably worth it.
Maybe you’re destined for adpi but can game it so you get into alpha gam or something.
The system works it has a purpose just go through it. You’ll get placed where you belong.
Are you a new money girl with no connections from the burbs of like Hoover? A girl with a 32 act and a full ride and pretty who chose bama over like boulder / Boston college. Some Long Island goombah pretending to be preppy running away to the south for instagram aesthetics? Yeah sure toss 5k over to some old lady to give you the rundown and ease your worries so you know the deal and where you realistically fit in.

I get the idea of a rush consultant in a way. My cousin was a Tri Delt at a different university and helped me through rush. I didn’t get invited back to Tri Det but she was really encouraging and wanted me to have the sorority experience.
Sometimes it helps to have guidance from an outside source instead of your Rho Chis, who you know are in a house. Not sure about paying for it… that sounds a little strange and fake to me.

The connection thing is a pay to play move. You’ll need some extra juice if you’re an unknown and not a part of the system as a legacy or previous social network you can tap into.
If you’re string to social climb in a new environment and that’s exactly what this is there are obstacles put in front to keep people out.
Rex letters are one. Also cluesless out of state kids who don’t get it and live in the insta/ tik tok version of the world it’d behoov you to talk to someone who’s a part of the process.
Grease the palms. Just do it what’s the worst that can happen. Too expensive to take that risk? Well then you don’t belong anyway
