The infamous ZTA vs. APHI videos

Ive heard about the recruitment videos in 2015, the original thing that had everyone glued in like rushtok does now and finally found the recruitment vids of ZTA and Aphi on youtube!! What happened to that sort of playful fun? Sororities should go back to making vids like that again. It’s just lighthearted fun and I would rather do that and vids that from other houses than tiktoks.
Also didn’t Phi Mu used to make videos like this too??

If those videos were essentially the same - but done by some “marginal” group (like transgendered) they would be heralded as a celebration.
But they were done by suburban white girls - who can’t celebrate who they are without guilt and shame from some observers. \n\n\n\n\n

I think I remember them being criticized for being too “hyper feminine” in the videos, but yeah, if it was men blowing glitter, dancing, and doing makeup, the media would call it groundbreaking and amazing. Real girls…can’t do girly things though. We all know the videos weren’t meant to be serious. It was never deep and actually quite well done for college sorority girls. I think if you had a problem with it, it was a personal problem within you.
