Negative TikTok content

See lots of content discussing the not so shiny experiences from actives who deactivated, even from houses I wouldn’t expect, like AXO. How do PNMs view this content? Does if affect their impression of a chapter?

I know this isn’t the main theme of her experience but sorority fines just blow my mind. My sorority’s nationals has a rule that we are not allowed to be fined for breaking a rule or missing a mandatory event. We do go to standards and get put on probation. Outside of our dues we are not expected or allowed to pay anything out of pocket.

That’s a great rule. Wish my sorority followed suit……we get like $500 fines for missing meetings and it’s damn near impossible to get excused :/

These attitudes make OR less attractive to some PMNs. Attitudes r changing and OR needs to change too or they will loose out on good PNMs. Toxicity is more recognized today

Outsiders who think they have a say in what any sorority "needs" to do are hilarious and at the same time pathetic. Top recruitment numbers and retention rates speak for themselves. AXO and others are doing just fine as they are. Can't say the same for some other houses.

It must be so hard to just keep some things to yourself, and not show the world YOU YOU YOU all the time. If you want to use a sorority to enhance your own 'brand' then you will miss out on the most unique experience you can ever have and will never get back. It's hard to believe that some girls are even going to college just for followers, with no intention of a degree or meaningful education, but here they come. Will you use your family, friends, SO, and children the same way? Some do. THAT is what is toxic.

Yea my sorority is in the top 5 regarding grades so not sure who you’re talking to. Point still stands: you’re butthurt.
