It would not surprise me if some houses informally encouraged participation in order to get clout...talking to you ZTA and PM. Piphi is also thirsty for attention so I wouldn't rule them out either.

The main girl featured in the trailer (Isabelle) went ADPi. Another girl (Shelby)is Phi Mu and you can see the girl in the Pi Phi button.

I watched a Tik Tok with Shelby Rose and she said she dropped out of the documentary because it wasn't going in the direction the producers said it was going.

The girl who opens the trailer is a Pi Phi alum now. I'm pretty sure the girl with the Pi Phi button was actually a DZ (but don't think she is anymore).

The girl with the blue blazer & Pi Phi button is actually a DZ. She borrowed a pledges blazer for her halloween costume and the button was still on there.

I don't believe anyone who creates a story about why they did this documentary. If they have ever watched reality tv they knew there would be a chance they might not be portrayed like they wanted to be. Also, I am sure pnms came to this board or other boards and were warned about tiktok, YouTube or even the documentary. They knew to not participate in anything risky or foolish.
