Is it true sororities have lists of who they want

If a bunch of actives followed you, you're on that sorority's radar. It's a good sign but it doesn't mean you're guaranteed to be invited/ invited back to that house. Just keep your social media clean/cute, finish out your senior year strong grades wise, and keep an open mind going into rush. Good luck!!

We have in-person rush for a reason. That's where the real membership decisions are made. There are pnms that we are definitely INTERESTED IN before rush and will be more intent on them, but that's a loooong way from making our bid list. Being interested in pnms is not a guarantee for them or for us - my sorority has been disappointed more than once after meeting someone in person that we thought we really wanted. Bad conversations, bad/fake personalities, superior attitudes, looking completely different from insta/tiktok/video, or just the wrong vibe/bad fit for our house. Pnms can't go through rush before rush starts and have any idea of where they will land. Show up and be your best where you are invited, in person, because that's going to make or break your rush.
