On the Annoying Topic of Ranks.

Ranks are relative to “who ranks”.

Mountain Brook girls rank different than the rest of the state, larger city southern girls different than the small town girls and OOR completely different.

There are tops for each type and these are all competitive.

Fall back houses maybe start to blend a bit but it’s not as “trickle down” as this make it out to be.

There are 2700 or so girls in recruitment and each house takes about 130.

There is more than enough interest in about 8 to 10 houses for them all to be competitive. In no particular order: AXO, KD, KKG, DDD, ZTA, XO, PM.

PiPhi and AGD are a bit debatable

No one say this - but DDD is a good example.

Very few want them “first” but they seem to be everyone’s “third”.

As the rounds progress they get competitive for sure. But day one they aren’t top of many lists. \n\n\n\n\n

I think this is why we put houses in tiers when we rank. It would never make sense to make a numbered list because it will be slightly different for everyone. The houses you usually see in the top tier on this site will appear on most PNM's top few houses on day 1.
