What’s the point of overall ranks???

Girls go KD/Kappa bc they want to be with other rich southern girls and party with old row boys.
Girls go AXO/XO for an emphasis of sisterhood, school involvement, and likeminded girls on their faith.
Girls go ADPI/Theta/AOPI/DG bc it’s where they fit in best and find their people.
Girls go ZTA to be with the rest of the trendy campus socialite girls.
Girls go Alpha Phi to party and hook up with the hottest boys and likeminded girls.
Girls go Pi Phi/Gphi/DZ to be with other OOS girls they can relate to and find their footing with.
My point in all this is what’s the point of overall “ranks” when at the end of the day girls go in the direction where they fit in? Ranks are way too general for the wide range of personalities. No girl in ZTA is crying bc she was dropped from AGD. No girl in Aphi is crying bc she got dropped from AXO. No girl in Pi Phi is crying bc she got dropped from KD. So on and so fourth….

This post isn’t stereotyping. Every house has a wide range of different girls, but it’d be a lie to say houses don’t have larger demographics of certain types of girls with certain interests.

For the most part, I agree with your post. You did leave a few houses out.
Phi Mu & Tri Delta: Still predominantly south, but a broader definition of south extending West to Texas and south to Florida, and for Phi Mu California. They have a sprinkling of other OOR girls, but if you're not on their list going into recruitment, would be tough to get a bid. For Phi Mu, helps if you're a competitive dancer/pageant girl/cheerleader type.
AGD: In broad terms, add them to the AXO & XO category.
SK: Add to your Theta/AOPi/DG description.
ADPi: They could also fit in the OOR group of GPhi/DZ/Pi Phi.
However, I think it should be added that there are plenty of southern girls in all houses. So, if you're from the south, and not in one of the "southern houses" you will have plenty of company of other southern girls, but just have a broader mix of geographical membership.

Phi Mu and Tri Delt have a TON of girls not a list before recruitment. It’s an absolute wildcard getting into both. KD, Kappa, Zeta, Chi O, and AXO are the ones with list.

While i agree with your overall point, and think its a really refreshing take, i think reducing houses to such generalizations can be pretty damaging, especially when who gets invited back or dropped is out of actives hands, many pnms can feel really discouraged when they get dropped by the house(s) that they feel align most with their values, like the process failed them

All I'm saying is rush isn't always a straightforward process and it's disingenuous and disheartening to say girls in certain houses only rushed to party/ get with frat boys when where you run home is decided by so many factors, and you can do all of the things listed in the original post in any house.

There are plenty of rich, non-religious girls in AXO and XO. There are plenty of Jesus freaks in Kappa and KD. So many Zetas that are not trendy and wear Shein. Alpha Phis don’t hook up with the hottest boys. There are also plenty of Southern girls in PBP.
Your post is trying to stereotype houses, but this isn’t 20 years ago.
