Almost Top: Zeta / Chi O / KD
Upper: Pi Phi / AGD / ADPI
Mid: Aphi / DZ / Gphi
Almost Mid: Theta / DG / AOII

-Move XO up to top.
-Move AGD up to almost top.
-DZ has improved drastically in the past few years. They’ll move up soon.
-I know APhi doesn’t have the best reputation, but girls do want them during rush. They could almost move up to Upper, but definitely behind PBP and ADPi. Or should they be on par with DZ? I could go either way.

Alpha gam will stay in this spot because a lot of PNM’s want old row. I think this scandal could hurt Alpha Gam’s retention numbers and PNM’s will rank them last of old row, but there are girls who will still prefer them over new row. If people think this is going to make girls rank them behind the houses that are usually put in the third and fourth tiers they are crazy.

Lower Top: Phi Mu Chi O KD
Upper: AGD Pi Phi
Mid: Zeta ADPI Aphi

Top: Phi Mu Zeta Aphi

Is this accurate for girls in other regions like Midwest? Do Midwest & Northern girls really have a shot at Phi Mu or Tri Delt without connections? Anyone OOR go through rush without knowing anyone and join one of these houses?

Yes, you have a shot at any house. Just PLEASE, don't get your heart set for a certain house. I had the maximum # of houses for each round and loved 2 certain houses. I ended up dropped by both before pref. House I got was my #4 choice. The houses do pick you amd not vice versa. I love the friends I've made. Rush is stressful but worth it in the end. Your friends will be your pledge class, not the girls you meet during recruitment. Good luck!

Stating that your ranks are based on “desirability” suggests you know each sorority’s return rate during rush. Please post that information here. I’m curious. I’ve heard that AXO, XO, KKG, and Phi Mu have an 99% return rate during rush year after year, but Kappa’s small pledge class would suggest theirs is lower at least for last year.
I look forward to seeing your source. Otherwise, it’s based on YOUR “desirability” not the consensus of PNMs.

If anyone still wants to question Kappa’s full pledge class, they can look at membership numbers on the fall Panhellenic grade report and they can also look at the COB list on the Panhellenic website. They had a full pledge class just like they always do. The bid day photo was missing a lot of girls.

Return rates only matter to a point. If you drop a large number of girls that want your house, then come pref night, you’re going to lose girls to other houses they pref as their #1. That doesn’t make your house less desired overall.
You want a statistical analysis, but base your statement on an “I hear” rumor and false info on Kappa?
I’m not the poster, but I assume she’s talking about the general vibe during rush, and from my own rush experience, it doesn’t seem far off.
