Info about other houses?

They normally aren’t talked about very much because they are unproblematic houses. They all have good sisterhoods and are friendly people. Most people will get along with girls in all these houses. People will have their own preferences between each of these houses and which is better.
XOs tend to only hangout with other XOs but are super smart well rounded girls (they are normally super desired during rush), pi phis normally like to go out and are popular with frat guys, dgs are usually nice girls but some people see them as kind of odd they are also normally at the top of the grade reports, adpis are typically pretty well rounded people who are involved in a lot and are normally really pretty, theta has been getting better with each pc and are usually one of the more inclusive houses

These houses tend to not have a lot of drama queens and internal competition.
XO and ADPi are full of some of the smartest, focused, involved girls around campus. DG girls are smart and goofy. PiPhi is like a less intense version of Zeta. Theta keeps improving each year has had a great pledge class these past two years.

You don’t hear about them bc they’re irrelevant and boring. I’ve also heard of all these houses having internal drama (except XO), just nobody cares about them so you’ll never know unless you’re in the house or friends with girls in them lol. Adpi and Pi Phi alums are known to also use greekrank as a recruitment tool by telling you how bad old row and other new row houses are because they suck at recruiting.

Do you know any girls in these houses. There are over 400 girls? People who think they are better than other people tend to not be well liked in the world outside of the Alabama sorority bubble. You’ll see!!!!!

Idk why this post is getting sm hate. I agree w the poster, those houses are kinda irrelevant. It’s not that they’re not full of really awesome girls and good sisterhoods, but other than xo, none of them usually stand out on campus.

Jealous old mommies love to be keyboard warriors and write mean things about houses that have little drama...calling them irrelevant - irrelevant to you? Because the house isn't filled with all the same girls from high school and church camps? If anyone receives a bid from any of these houses, consider yourself lucky. Great sisterhoods in all of these houses.

Joke's on you. Wait until you are out of school a few years, and one of those "irrelevant and boring" girls is your boss, or is in a position to recommend you (or not) for a job. Yes, that's a thing.

You will have to go through recruitment and see for yourself. You will read lots of negative things about great houses on here. ALL of the Alabama houses are fabulous in their own way. Some houses have more drama than others,some have more religious girls, some are more studious, some more party girls...you have 400 girls in most houses. You will find your people...

You mainly hear people bash Zeta and Aphi on here...
XO - XO is old row. Full of smart, involved girls. Big percentage of girls from Alabama and surrounding states. Their average GPA is 3.71. I find these girls friendly and not super wild.
PiPhi - A desired NR house. Attracts a lot of the same girls as Zeta. A lot pref Zeta / PiPhi. I'm a senior, and this is the first year there has been a lot of drama within the house. GPA 3.54. They are popular with a lot of the frats.
Theta - they have been improving these past two years. They had a great recruitment and have changed their "stigma". The girls I have met in this house are all super sweet and are known for a great sisterhood. 3.46 average GPA
DG - These girls really don't care what others think. 3.57 average GPA. They are smart and march to the beat of their own drum.
ADPi - There is a big mix of girls in this house - known for being smart and involved. I have also met some wild girls in this house that don't seem to fit their usual mold. 3.61 GPA.
I really don't understand those that claim about houses being "irrevelant". Bama has one of the best Greek systems in the country. Each house has much to offer. I hope this helps! If you are going through recruitment this August - do your best to not listen to "tent talk." Try to see through the B.S. on here.

Pi Phi and Zeta cross rush and go after the same girls??? Tell me you went to UA in 2010 without telling me you went to UA in 2010. Girls in Pi Phi were DROPPED from Zeta. Zeta is way better and forgets pi phi exists. Must be an alum living in the glory days. You’ve moved down to adpi level and can’t even outrush gamma phi these days.

Pi Phis really live in an alternate reality on greekrank, it’s actually funny to watch. Do they realize people don’t actually take this site seriously? You hit rock bottom if you have to use an anonymous site for your PR and ride another sororities coat tails. Zeta puts in work and deserves the hype. Pi phi needs to put more work in real life and not in their greek rank reality

you don’t hear too much bashing about these houses bc there isn’t much to bash about. XO is the only Old Row house of this group. they’re smart girls and don’t do the most if ya know what i mean. they pull lots of instate girls but it doesn’t seem like they’re extremely cliquey like other OR houses
ADPi and PiPhi are generally on the same level. they both attract cute, smart , and focused girls. Id say PiPhi has more pretty girls and is maybe more social/trendy while ADPi is more involved, has better grades, and has a more mellow vibe. both have good sisterhoods so its really up to preference
DG and Theta are sweet girls. personally i don’t see them being involved in too much but just like any other sorority, they get invited to frat events and have genuinely good sisterhoods. they’re laid back and you probably won’t be bullied in these houses.

First of all, I want to wish you good luck this August. Be prepared for the most exhausting week of your life! Clean up your socials now as houses are all checking everyone out!
All houses at UA are amazing! During recruitment you will rank your top choices and houses will rank you. Don't get your hopes up for a particular house. Trust the process - it really does work out.
