I’m a Gamma Phi looking to transfer to Bama. Vibe?

by: gphi nola

Hi! I’m a gphi at Loyola university new orleans looking to transfer to UA. I have just a few questions. I know sort of how swapping chapters works, but I’m not sure if the Gamma Phi Betas at UA would accept me. I’m not the typical sorority girl and come from a small school with no house. Does everyone live in the house? How much are dues (estimate not exact)? What is the vibe there?

gphi is predominately girls from up north, not everyone lives in the house, but the girls are mostly social and are involved in their events and partying but are respectable to an extent, not too many negative things to say compared to other houses
living in house dues are around 7 thousand
living out of house dues if you are not a new member dues are 3 thousand

Gphi is a great group of girls - they accept a lot out of state girls. You are usually required to live in house for one year. They have a beautiful house.

Gphi is great here just like any house at bama you will have a lot of girls that look very involved but some who are more lowkey/quieter on what they are doing there’s enough of us though you’ll find ur people. The house is gorgeous as well and foods always bomb
