During first round cuts, statistically, a 3.0-3.3 are all treated the same- all deemed to be VERY low GPAs. Every house wants a girl with a 3.5 or higher GPA.
First round grade cuts at NR houses that are up and coming will be less severe.

Thanks for replying. I wasn’t sure what you mean by, “it’s that simple”? Not trying to be rude, just wanting to see if you meant it’s that simple that she’ll be cut due to a B average, or that looks and personality can carry some weight even with a B average.
Yeah, lots of beautiful people at Alabama. Accurate self-assessment is a good idea!

There are looks and personality overflowing during rush and plenty of 3.75's to go along with them. You must have good connections to overcome anything below a 3.5 at one of the strongest rushing houses. But don't worry about anything that you can't control and focus on things you can do something about.

I meant the answer to your question is simple - yes (you can get a bid at a “good” house).
If you are a “standout” in looks and
Personality rush will go well - even with a 3.0 GPA.
But as I cautioned, don't overestimate your looks or personality.
Someone noted “overflowing” above and I don’t disagree there are many sweet attractive girls here, but there are still standouts in looks and personality.
If you are at that level, it’s “simple”.

With more than 2,600 girls going through Recruitment each year, you will have to be a model to overcome low grades (and a 3.2 GPA is considered low) UNLESS you have a lot of personal connections that are Actives in the house. Many grade risks that are moderately cute get through because they know so many Actives from their high school, home towns, church, etc. Heck, KD is full of those kind of girls.
Be careful about thinking you are "hot" in comparison to other girls also going through recruitment. Have you seen what an average sorority girl looks like on this campus? My friend had lower grades and no connections and ended up fine because she is an actual model from FL that has been in print ads for labels. She did just fine.
The fact is that low grades are a huge liability during the first couple of rounds.
And, DO NOT try to get Tiktok famous for being "hot". That only works if you want to be a Zeta.

Not in a sorority, but I thought 3.0 was more like B-?
Isn't a B average more like 3.2 or 3.3 range?
