Confirmed it was meningitis

I agree with seriously. A statement should be made to raise awareness. If it was an overdose so others know what to look for. If it was a medical reason so students know to be alert and to be able to assist others next time and so a protocol is in place on getting help immediately. The university has an obligation to post reason of death vs no foul play. It is foul play if someone was sick and didnt get help. Raise awareness as her life mattered. I now see its meningitis. So why not say so....its criminal to hide that

regrettably a contagious medical problem is a healthcare emergency and everyone must respect students who came in contact with her....this has nothing to do with privacy but with a contagious illness that must not spread...i am reading comments and is anyone really thinking of what they write? its called contact tracing to save other lives. comments like hope you are vaxxed are a cheap shot by someone in pain but doesnt solve whats happened or protect other students or teachers. stop and think.

All incoming students, regardless of classification, must have the following vaccinations:
Meningitis Vaccine – One dose at age 16 or greater
2 Measles Containing Vaccines – One must be a MMR vaccination after 1980
TB Screening – Within one year
Immunization Form – Must be downloaded then submitted via MyBama

fyi writes, All incoming students, regardless of classification, must have the following vaccinations:
Meningitis Vaccine – One dose at age 16 or greater,
so hm what happened here -she had to be vaccinated so what was the cause of death or did she die from a different strain

“Converting up” lol maybe learn how to spell before posting…. More importantly, do you really think the family would allow the sorority to hide their daughter’s cause of death if there was any foul play or fault on the chapter’s part? Absolutely not. The fact some people are using a tragedy to try and disparage a chapter is disgusting. Please do some soul searching and pray…
