As an AOPI alum I just wanna talk
by: Alum2015I graduated in 2015 and we were considered a very mid-tier house. Below Pi Phi and Zeta but above GPhi and DG. Why do I keep seeing listed at the very very bottom? Did something happen that I missed? Help me understand what happened in 7 years

We must have gone to different schools then. Class of 2017. AOPi was always near the bottom rung. Whether it was when GPhi was bottom before that or theta lasted on. AOPi was close to the bottom.

It’s all about the physical houses and the order they were built. The first round to get new houses were DG, GPB, etc. So for girls going through rush, they were willing to pledge a lower ranked sorority for the trade off of getting a brand new mansion. AOP and KAT were the last two to get new houses, so that’s been years of girls skipping over them to pledge others with new houses.
It’s unfair and it sucks, but now that everyone has mansions, it shouldn’t have as big of an impact going forward.

AOPi got a great pc this year. They have been doing well. Just don’t expect to hear any validation for that here. It’s pretty much nonstop trolling with an occasional pro-Panhellenic message.

Any of the chapters here are good. Once you graduate you become part of your organization for life and the AOPi chapter here is good
It’s relative to the other chapters which are some of the strongest in the US so keep that in mind
