Question about Theta

1, They’re not a part of the machine.
2, because of that they lost a lot of southern/in state clout in recent years.
3. A few rough pledge classes and a lot of retention issues.
4, they’re just different. Not AS into the typical Bama mold as the other chapters.

Theta is a newer house on campus- they just got their mansion 2-3 years ago. They have made HUGE gains in a short time.

They are not part of the Machine because their Nationals will not permit them to join that male dominated sub-organization.

Their last two pledge classes are very different than previous pledge classes because their new mansion helped recruit and those girls are as cute, fun and as social as any other house.

Their retention issues related to the upcoming senior class which is full of quieter, more studious girls. The sophomore and junior classes are not like that.

Theta extends bids to a lot of East Coast, Midwest and Southwest girls. For that reason, the Southern girls and their mamas that dominate GR, rank them low regardless of what is actually happening on campus.

The last two years of recruitment, everyone was surprised by how well they did. They will have another strong recruitment because their sophomore class is so good.
