im coming to bama from milwaukee, wi. im worried this will hurt my chances of getting a bid. im also brunette and my family has a decent amount of money, but we’re not loaded. do you honestly think i’ll get into a sorority here?

For Heaven’s sake (if this is a real post) yes girl. You’ll be fine. Place doesn’t matter. Hair color doesn’t matter. Money doesn’t matter. All that matters is if you can lead a conversation.

I don't know why anybody thinks that how much money your parents have figures into sorority membership selection. WHAT ARE Y'ALL THINKING, FOR CRYING OUT LOUD??? Sororities have no way of knowing about some random pnm's parents' money. What they care about is if you are put together and present yourself well and fit with the vibe of the house. If you are able to afford the cost of sorority life then you are good as far as the money issue, but only you know that. So please stop with the "my family has a decent amount of money" stuff.
