Kudos to Aphi members
by: zI know it’s easy to paint the whole sorority one way, but seeing the leaked texts of the girls slamming into their exec gives me hope things may change for them. If their exec or advisors doesnt change, they’re done for. Hopefully they can turn all of this into a positive and turn around alpha phis reputation around for good. If not….I guess nice knowing ya lol.

Agreed. Especially at a school this intense, it’s hard to be brave enough to call out those in positions in power. GREAT JOB to the girls actually calling out this behavior and nothing but the best wishes for the women of color in alpha phi. Hope you are being supported, heard, and safe in these times

It is amazingly sad to me how many people come on this site and bash others. Bullying behind a screen is no better than what is being talked about here. When poor decisions are made and YES they are made at some point in every sorority and fraternity. That shouldn't paint the entire group bad. Lift people up and quit tearing them down. Put yourself in their position and extend a little grace as we have all been given at some time in our life. If it makes you feel good to beat people down then check yourself.

It’s also called the wrong target audience. Most of the people who weren’t objective and going crazy with calling them out weren’t even apart of Alabama Greek life. You’re crazy if you don’t think the majority of girls and definitely boys didn’t support Alpha Phi. The girl who made the text/exec? No. But they were not looking at the entire house as bad, especially considering most girls are friends across houses, even though this site would not have you believing that. Additionally, not saying it’s right or wrong, but people trying to call them out for caring about looks, partying, and Pike…HELLO it’s Alpha Phi, we all know this and honestly, who cares. The girls who want that will go Aphi and the girls who want to be philanthropy focused, academics, etc. will go somewhere else. It’s that simple. Who cares. It’s why we have options, but I don’t think an Alpha Phi type is suddenly going to want to go in another direction because of this. Again - all about target audience.
