How does COB work?

How long does it take to possibly get a COB bid? If a sorority contacts you...how long does it take to make a decision?

I just got a COB I filled out the form right after rush ended but it’s different for everyone so it could be even longer, but once I got a text we just set up a time to meet and I got a bid the day of
