Old row question?
by: EmmaWhy is it that old toe matters so much when it comes to sororities but the fraternities (who coined the designation) aren’t considered top anymore? Is it because the old row sororities are on here defending the title for themselves so much?

No.... the girls from Alabama still hang with boys from Alabama. Yeah some of the out of region girls in OR houses might like NR frats but the southern ones stick together. It’s all about exclusivity

No longer true. The south is a heck of a lot more than Alabama. Alabama students are the minority. Why be a big fish in the small OR pond when you can have the whole NR ocean?

First circle are the first three sororities on campus- KD, Alpha Gam, Tri Delt- tiger houses used to sit on a dead end circle before the new houses were built. KD often uses the phrase “ Still on First’ cause the original front of their house still sits on first circle. The old alpha gam house does too.

Kd was first house on campus, zeta was second. Your right about the circle but not the history behind it

Not really. Girls realize they want the better looking boys, the wealthier boys, the more athletic boys, etc. With a few individual exceptions, that ain’t going to happen with the OR fraternities.
