Every chapter has great girls. Stick with it. At the very least attend pref to see how it plays out. I know girls who totally changed their minds during preference round.

Greek life is what you make it. There is every type of girl in that house- just like any other house. They are brand new- - that’s it.

If this is your only house left, this says more about you, then them. I guess other chapters thought that YOU were awkward and weird too.

And a lot of it is you are feeling rejection- but there is a house who wants to get to know you. Tent talk is stupid- after recruitment you may see things with clear eyes/heart. Every chapter has wonderful traditions— there may be more opportunities for leadership in a newer house.

A lot of actives accepted bids from a house they were unsure of and grew to love the sisters. It is all about how you go into it. Best wishes.

Assuming you haven't already quit or been released, go ahead and drop if you're not feeling it. Don't be a buzzkill who's just going to depledge anyway.

You can always re-rush or COB, but there are no guarantees—you may get a bid to a house you like, or you may not get anything at all, or just "weird and awkward" again. Would you be OK with not being Greek if things didn't work out?

Stop attacking this girl for feeling rejected and expressing how a house makes her feel. OP, talk to a Rho chi about this and don’t let these mean anonymous people make you feel bad.

It’s sad that girls have this attitude because if they all just didn’t think about ranks, the chapter would improve so much faster. Your pledge class could be amazing and turn around the chapter completely. Give pref a shot, Try to get a vibe for the other girls that are going into the house and see if the actives sway you. If they don’t then just drop after pref and go cob or rush again as a sophomore
