Are tall girls less desirable for sororities?

by: hera

I'm on the taller side (5'11). Will I have trouble getting a bid from the better sororities?

duh. no frat boy wants someone taller than him. try walking around with bad posture or bending your knees and you'll have better luck hun. or just don't bother rushing? idk

Rushing a sorority has nothing to do with what any frat boy wants.

What stupid advice.

To tall pnm- own how God made you and carry your stature with confidence. And when someone makes the obvious comment of “gosh you are tall,” smile and say “thank you, I am.”

People can be so ignorant. I had a man come up to me at a bar and told me I’m too tall. I replied that he had a honker of a nose and I couldn’t talk to him. Walked off laughing and leaving him w his mouth open shocked.

I'm 6'0. It did feel weird as there are A LOT of tiny girls...especially in KD. I got my dream house. No issues during recruitment. My friend group in my house - we are all super tall. Guys approach us all the time and ask if we model. All that said - A LOT of short southern guys. More tall guys from out of state.

I am a tall girl - 5'11". No issues during recruitment. I didn't wear high heels. I agree with the above post - a lot of short guys at Bama.
