I think my gpa is too low to rush

by: lala

I have a 3.4 high school gpa. I know the panhellenic website says as long as you have above a 3.2 you should be fine, but is that true? My transcript shows that my grades got a lot better every year of high school so it shows growth and my classes got harder, but I am worried that I will get dropped any way

What old row houses are more relaxed about grades? A lot of people have said I’d fit in with some old row houses but I have a similar GPA

A 3.4 is good enough providing you have a friendly and fun personality, you present yourself well, and have at least one rec to every house. Unless you personally know several women in AGD, AXO, or XO, they might drop you for your GPA. Those houses do a lot to protect their high GPA and are very proud of that accomplishment. Make sure your rec writers know of any extracurricular you did and anything you are passionate about. That information helps some houses match you during recruitment with other actives who you may vibe with well.
