Navigating Greek Life With Celiac

I am currently deciding between Bama and another school with GL but no houses (and therefore no kitchens). Will i be able to eat at my sorority house safely if I can’t consume ANY gluten ever? Even from cross contamination (gluten containing food touching mine, basically)? Any actives with celiac that can speak on this?? Thanks!!

I’m a junior with celiac and I’ve only had two incidents of getting glutened at my house. You honestly should be fine bc there’s a lot of celiac girls

If you have a severe illness, Greekrank isn't the place to ask. Email Panhellenic and ask them and you'll get legitimate advice back from people who work in Greek Life and will tell you the truth as professionally as they can.

celiac isn't a serious illness. just watch what you eat.

I’m celiac in a sorority here and I’ve never had any issues. The houses chefs are pretty good at accommodating to any allergies gluten, dairy, soy etc !!!
