Theta vs SK????

by: ?

What are the differences in these two chapters. Both are traditionally the lowest ranked so I’m just curious.

SK is newer and usually more "popular" in the north. Both are great sororities here, I don't understand why it matters to be old or new row. I think Theta would slighter be higher than SK here but it doesn't matter. Both groups of girls are great. Plus Theta just got a new house about 2 years ago and it's gorgeous. SK will probably get a new one soon.

So, many people will get angry that I’m saying this, but tough. While every house is a great house and has genuine girls who are great people and have a lot to offer, there is always going to be a “bottom” house right? That house that no one wants. That house that people think is for “weird”girls, girls with bad reputations, an incohesive group of members, etc. and while this should not exist, it’s life, and this is how life is. It does not mean the girls in this house are worth less, or there sisterhood is less, or they’re awful people.

SK is new to campus. They do not have a great house compared to the others, they do not have a cohesive membership, they seem to get a lot of mismatch, and they’re just new so their social standing isn’t as strong. Let me repeat: this does not mean the girls in SK are any less than any other chapter.

Theta: theta was the standing last chapter to get a new house, morale was low, they were typically seen as a mismatched group with poor sisterhood. However, they got a new house, raised morale, raised house pride, and triumphed, and SK replaces them as the “bottom house”. Girls would rather have theta over SK, because they’re more established on campus, strong nationally, and um have you seen their house?

There are wonderful girls in both houses who should not be made to feel less than. They are valuable women and have an impact on the Greek community just like everyone else.
